Sisu Theatre is a female-led theatre company founded in 2018 at East 15 Acting School and based in the UK. We collaborate with local and international artists to produce stories that resonate with, educate and empower the community. We specialise in new writing & devised theatre, with particular focus on environmental conservation, mental health and community enrichment. We're here to start conversations, challenge perceptions and achieve social impact through performance and creative outreach.
Madeleine Carter

Madeleine is an Australian actor, writer and theatre practitioner. She trained at East 15 and GITIS, and holds a Masters degree from the Shakespeare Institute, in partnership with the RSC.

Creative Producer
Vilma is an actor and theatre-maker from Helsinki, Finland. She trained at East 15, GITIS and has previously trained in physical theatre and mask at Tikkurila Teatteri and Circus School in Finland.
Olivia Catchpole
Director of Community Outreach
Olivia is an English/German performer writer, theatre-maker and theatre facilitator. She trained at East 15, specialising in Community Theatre and is currently completing a Masters in Environmental Politics & Policy at Birkbeck.
